  1. Vision and Mission including year of inception

Vision

Creating a Centre of Excellence and Empowerment for persons with acute disability like Spinal Cord Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury. Offering quality, affordable and Holistic rehabilitation are the prime drivers. Chandigarh Spinal Rehab lays emphasis on comprehensive and Holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Mission

Enabling independent living and enhancing the quality of life of persons with acute disabilities like SCI, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, etc. are the goals of Chandigarh Spinal Rehab.

2. Work done and being done with respect to spinal cord injury

Since the last five years we have been working with zeal and commitment towards empowering and transforming the lives of persons with Spinal cord injury/ Brain Injury.

Spinal cord injury imposes multiple disabilities at one stroke with enormous physical, emotional, social and financial challenges. The same can be said for brain injuries as well.

The success of our holistic approach to rehabilitation is the fact that 80.4 percent of persons Rehabilitated at Chandigarh Spinal Rehab have moved to live productive lives i.e. by setting up  small shops or businesses in their villages or towns or have moved forward for further education or corporate jobs. Three of them have got jobs in Accenture, one in IBM, one in Johnson & Johnson and two have even got admission in IIM, Bangalore and one in IIM, Trichy. Housewives have also gone back to take care of their respective homes, kitchen and family. This is a remarkable percentage of successful Rehabilitation.

This is primarily due to our focus on the well- being of the persons at all levels i.e. physical, mental, emotional and social.

That we have made such Quality Rehabilitation available to persons from the most economically-challenged backgrounds is gratifying.

As an Organization we have been working and encouraging them and assisting them to live to their highest potential.
