Sevabharathi Dharmasthala

Sevabharathi conceptualized and started its community activities in the year 2004 and later registered in the year 2012 as a Trust. Sevabharathi was founded with the avowed objective of extending social service to the deserved and marginalized segment. Sevabharathi is actively engaged in social work and community service for the past 16 years in the field of health, empowerment of rural women and rehabilitation of person with spinal cord injury. Till date we have impacted more than 8000 lives through our programs.

Our objectives 

Identify persons with spinal cord injury and help them to improve their quality of life. Extend rehabilitation services, empower them with life skills and enable to lead a life with dignity and self-sufficiency. 

Empowering women through skill training programs. 

Provide health services to the community through Medical camps and ambulance service 

Sevadhama: 

Sevadhama is a Rehabilitation centre for people with spinal cord injury (PWSCI). We run an intensive 12 weeks residential training program where PWSCI learn self- management skills, take care of their daily routine, wheel chair skills etc. The physical rehabilitation makes them stronger and independent. We see them leave with confidence and dignity.

Sabalini: 

The effort is to support rural women and empower them by providing free tailoring camps. This gives them access to additional livelihood options. We also organize health check-up camps and health awareness programmes. 

Arogyam: 

Striving to build a healthy and safe society, we conduct blood donation camps in various taluks, arrangement of blood through our network in case of emergency, ambulance services on concessional fare and free health check-up camps. 

Our impact 

Till date we have impacted 8000+ lives through our programs. 

Identified 292 PWSCI and rehabilitated 78 persons through our Sevadhama program. Conducted 24 tailoring camps involving 25 rural women in each camp. Awards 

Kannada Rajyosthava District Award by Government of Karnataka in 2019 Uthista Seva Puraskara State Award by Uthishta trust in 2020
