Sevabharathi is a non-government organization established in 2004 based in Kanyady-II, Belthngady, that’s transforming the lives and livelihood of neglected sectors of the society. We run extensive programs in 6 districts of Karnataka to enable and empower people with spinal cord injury and rural women. Past 16 years we have been working in the areas of Disability, Health and women empowerment. Shri K Vinayaka Rao himself a victim of spinal cord injury is the founder of Sevabharathi had a dream to contribute towards his disability sector so started a new project “Sevadhama†in 2018 which is a rehabilitation centre for people with spinal cord injury which operate with the three main projects of Institution based rehabilitation, Community based rehabilitation and Livelihood . We have identified 303people with spinal cord injury, Rehabilitated 83 Spinal cord injured under the project Sevadhama. In total till date we have impacted 8000+ lives of people by our service.
